Ants
Species identification, trail tracing and slow-acting baits for ants in New York City homes and apartments.

For apartments, co-ops, brownstones and houses.
Inspection, targeted treatment and follow-up for apartments, co-ops, brownstones and houses.

A pest problem in a home is stressful, and in a shared building it is rarely only one unit’s problem. We start by finding out what is there and how it is getting in, then explain the plan before any treatment begins.
You receive clear preparation instructions, and we follow up to check results and adjust the plan if activity continues.
Choose the pest you are dealing with to see how an assessment works.

STEP 01
We identify the pest, check where it is active and find how it gets in.

STEP 02
We apply targeted treatment with clear preparation and re-entry instructions.

STEP 03
We check results, seal entry points and help you keep pests out.
Owners and tenants each have a part in pest control.
Under Local Law 55, owners of buildings with three or more apartments must inspect units and common areas for pests and mold each year, respond to complaints, and correct infestations with integrated pest management: removing nests and debris, sealing holes and gaps, repairing leaks and fitting door sweeps on doors to hallways, basements and outside. Vacant apartments must be free of pests before a new tenant moves in, and any pesticide used must be applied by a pest professional licensed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
If you rent, report pests and leaks to your landlord or managing agent in writing and keep a note of the dates. If conditions are not fixed, tenants can file a complaint with the city through 311. In many buildings our work is arranged through management, and we write up what we found in a way that helps both sides see which repairs belong to the building and which habits belong to the household.
No. Describe what you are seeing, where and when, and add photos if you can. The inspection identifies the pest and how it is getting in.
Keep access clear to the rooms involved, note where you have seen activity and avoid applying store-bought sprays. We send preparation instructions that match the treatment.
